Hand Tools
You can’t do everything with power tools; occasionally you need to depend on muscle and skill. Fortunately, many of today’s hand tools are just as advanced as power tools, often more so. More to the point, they are still evolving. Manufacturers create better, more capable designs that keep the old tools useful. And occasionally, someone will invent a completely new hand tool that performs a woodworking task better that it could be done before.

Jorgensen Bench Plane
$69.00 As of: 07/25/24
This is Jorgensen’s take on a Stanley No. 4 smoothing plane. It is just as well-constructed as an old Stanley, and in one important aspect, it’s better – the iron is half again thicker. As a result, it cuts smoother with no chatter.
